There are 9 semi-finalist names (the essay contest was open to kids ranging from 1-12grade). Its a simple drag -n- drop system where you sort the names according to your own personal tastes. The winning child will be notified late April or early May and they will not only have their name broadcast as the winner, but they will also get to sign the rover itself before its launch (totally kewl....I'd be squealing for joy and jumping up and down like mad if that were me!)
Polls are only open until this Sunday so vote now....unless you have something better to do with your lives.....obviously I don't!

Goodness. Is this one of those "Vote early, vote often" thingies?
Why not just name the Rover "Rover," or "Fido," like all people name their mutts. :)
