Blue Marble 2

NASA has done it again.... this time the gorgeous image before you takes in the Arctic Circle (the geographic location, not the fast food restaurant) as its main focus.  You can find it here if you want to download it for yourselves.

Today I was reminded of something that never fails to fill me with delight... snow drifting down out of a seemingly blue sky. I just love the contrast of the blue and the white, and the oddness of the moment of seeing blue skies overhead and yet flakes are drifting gently down.
