September. It came....and now its about to leave again.
Bummer.
Not that October isn't nice....I love October with its crisp fall leaves and fresh-smelling air....
but September (lovely, lovely September) is the start of it all.
October brings Halloween (admitedly my favorite holiday) but then all too soon comes November and then hard on its heels is December...
The next thing you know the world is no longer fresh and crunchy with leaves and autumn colors but fresh and crunchy with the cold fallen snow and the world becomes a swirl of blue shadows, white snow.....
and the dirt they dump on the road for traction.
Soooooooooo not attractive.
But I will try and look on the bright side with all the lovely scarves I've knit that will soon come out and play.....
I guess it will have to do.

This were almost the exact same thoughts than ran through my head this morning as I literally shoved my head through the cat door in the window to get a good whiff of that lovely September air!
Well I leave my bedroom window open a bit....not only does Jasper enjoy getting a whiff but its the most wonderful scent to wake up to in the morning! Being me it will probably stay open a crack until well into the winter because I love the fresh air...stale rooms are nasty!
